Hill College will host its 16th annual Boots and Suits event Friday, April 16, from 5 to 7 pm at the Hilltop Barn in Cleburne. This event celebrates and supports higher education by raising scholarship funds exclusively for students in the Hill College service area, which includes Bosque, Hill, Hood, Johnson, and Somervell counties.

Due to COVID-19, this year’s come-and-go event will provide indoor and outdoor seating to allow additional spacing and desired seating options for attendees. Hors d’oeuvres, bar service, and live entertainment will be provided.

“Being able to provide both indoor and outdoor seating allows us to be able to safely host this event,” said Hill College Director of Development Leigh Ebner. “We are eager to see our community come together again, and what better way to do this than by celebrating our students who we hope will one day work in our community and continue to make it a great place.”

Various academic programs and scholarship recipients will be featured during the event. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on raffle items, as well as make donations at the Fund a Future table.

Community support of the Boots and Suits event strengthens Hill College’s ability to lead students toward success. Each year, Hill College serves over 5,000 students as they make the choice to advance their education through one of the college’s career and education pathways: arts and humanities; business and industry; health and public service; and science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Corporations interested in underwriting the event have several partnership levels to choose from including: presenting partner for $7,500; gold buckle partner for $5,000; silver buckle partner for $2,500; bronze buckle partner for $1,000, and fund a future partners for $500. Individual tickets are available for $60 per person. Additional event, ticket, and partnership details are available at http://www.hillcollege.edu/boots.
